Your Video should give you at least 4 content pieces

As most associations are challenged to keep up with the content game, I thought I would add my thoughts on how you can stretch your content to multiple posts out of a single video...

Although most of your audience will be visual learners, it is still good practice to give options for content consumption.  So here's how you can satisfy all of the different tastes...

1. Create a Podcast out of your Video.  When you are storyboarding your video, ensure that your audio is telling a story and setting the right emotions with your background and music.  This will allow you to take the audio file and create a podcast.

2. Make a Transcription of your Video.  Just like magic, you can make a PDF, handout, email or a blog post from the video you just did.

3. Make a Social Media Post.  Take the main theme of the video and elements to create a short 15 second teaser that you can post to a variety of platforms.

Your video (as a video) makes 4 content pieces.   There you go.  You've got something to post each week for a month.
