Micro-learning is a holistic approach for skill-based learning and education which deals with relatively small learning units.
The key to recruitment, retention and revenue is engagement. As associations and association partners, we spend a lot of time and energy focused on engagement. What will keep members around? How do we entice a new member to join? What do they want? Engagement is as the core of this discussion and if you are not doing it well, you are at risk. Here we will discuss how engagement opportunities change through the member journey and what you can do to maximize it.
Video has many impactful uses. Here at Association TV we often talk about increasing member engagement through educational content and achieving association objectives such as, increasing event attendance. These are valuable goals that shouldn’t be ignored but, video is also a powerful tool that can be used to persuade, advocate and greatly affect industries.
Do you find yourself asking, why does our association need video? What’s all the fuss?
Or, maybe you like the idea of video, but need a little back-up convincing your team or board members. Well, you’re in luck!
Delivering content catered to mobile consumption is imperative to maximizing reach and relevancy for today’s audiences. As generations shift, so do preferences. In order to remain relevant, associations need to embrace digital – and more specifically mobile. The majority of members join associations for the first time as students or within the first 5 years of their careers. If you are not targeting the new workforce, you may be missing out on a huge opportunity.
Many Associations deliver their best content of the year at conferences or annual events. While a Conference Recap video can be a great way to summarize the event and act as a promotional tool for next year’s conference, Daily Recaps add immediacy, engagement and excitement to the current event.
